Copper Mountain SBX / SX Training

Check in will be in Guest Services Office on the lower level of Copper One (as in all years past)! You will be assigned a bib to use for that days training only and must return the bib to Guest Services at the end of the day or you will be charged a $25 missing bib fee.   

  • Single (1) day training registrants will be issued a lift ticket at checkin valid for that days training only and are required to return their bib to guest services at the end of the day.
  • Three (3) day training registrants will be issued a lift ticket at checkin valid for three days training only and are required to return their to guest services bib after the last day of training.

Nationals Check List

The 2016 USASA National Championship is now only 4 weeks away.  For those of you that have been through this experience before its pretty much old hat, for those who have not, here's quick over view and check list.

Ensure that your email address is correct
National Championship invitations are sent via e-mail ONLY!  We've been sending email event announcements to the email address in your membership profile all season long.  If you've been receiving them then you're good to go, however if you have not, please log in to your USASA Member Profile and update your email address.  One email address per member only, two does not work.  It is critical that you accept your invitation as soon as you receive it.  PQ's and Q's invitations are valid for 72 hours once sent, NR's are valid for 48 hours. Once the invitation expires, it is auto declined and issued to the next competitor in the rankings.

    Are sent out beginning Wednesday, March 9th at noon in the following order:

    • PQ = 2015 National Champions / Gold Medalist per discipline
    • OA = 2015 Overall Champions (All 6 Disciplines)
    • Q = 2016 Regional Series Champion
    • Q2 = 2016 Regional Series 2nd Place (only eligible if Q declines invitation)
    • NR = 2016 National Rankings

    Schedule and Start List

    All 9 & Under competitors will participate in two contests in one this Saturday!  

    Heat One will run first and complete the first phase of the contest in the Main Vein Super Pipe and then head over to the Union Creek Mini Pipe for a "Best Trick" Competition beginning at 11:00 am.  

    The "Best Trick" contest is for Heat One competitors ONLY and will be filmed for use in a World of Adventure Television Special.  Check out World of

    Heat ONE competitors will be awarded USASA Medals for the Super Pipe Competition and will also compete in the "Best Trick" competition for a:

    • 1st Prize - Snowboard
    • 2nd Prize - GoPro
    • 3rd Prize - Thule Surprise Backpack

    We will be using a Double Up judging system for this USASA RMS Halfpipe contest in the Main Vein Super Pipe.  The double up competition format allows for the halfpipe to occupied continuously, alternating between snowboard and skiers, allowing for all competitors to be able to perform both of their runs in the best possible halfpipe conditions.
