Breckenridge Halfpipe

Danny Davis & Kevin Rolland loved this venue, I'm sure you will too!

We will be using a Double Up judging system for this and all future USASA RMS Halfpipe events.

The double format is used to run two Heats at the same time, where competitors are split into heats (Snowboard Heat 1 & Skier Heat 2) starting at the same time, alternating between the two heats with each panel of judges scoring a different heat. For example, Snowboard Judge Panel A judges both runs for Heat 1 and Skier Judge Panel B judges both runs for Heat 2. Competition runs will be a best run format, where the highest scoring run is used to determine ranking.

The double up competition format allows for the halfpipe to occupied continuously, alternating between snowboard and skiers, allowing for all competitors to be able to perform both of their runs in the best possible halfpipe conditions.

Please refer to the Freestyle Manual for more information.
